Loop Operations and How to Get There

McHenry is located on North Dakota Highway 20 44 miles south of Devils Lake and 46 miles north of Jamestown. The depot is located on the north edge of McHenry near the elevators. McHenry also has a restaurant on Main Street for local dining. Refer to the map.

The McHenry Railroad Loop gives train rides on the first and third Sundays of June, July and August, as well as the first Sunday in September. Rides are available between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. at a cost of $1 (donations accepted).
